About Vibe Teacher Recruitment

We are a team of teachers committed to inspiring better education. We place teachers in roles all over London across Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Special Needs.

We strive to provide a ‘small agency’ feel with ‘big agency’ options. That’s why we work in teams, each looking after a small group of schools so that it stays personal (speak to who you want, when you want!), but all sharing a large pool of candidates so that it’s always quality.

We have been growing by referral since 2001. Our reputation matters! ‘Vibers’ live by positivity. We care about family, health and happiness. We are passionate about education, community and service. We have a can do attitude and we strive to make others happy because that’s what makes us happy.

​Vibe have been very supportive throughout my time in London. All the schools I visited when doing supply work were great and Vibe never sent me to a job that I wasn't comfortable with. I was offered a full-time position almost immediately at a great school which is what I wanted. My favourite part about being a part of Vibe is the drinks and parties. I even won a trip to Turkey at one of them. They also have great fitness sessions over the school holidays. I have not only felt supported but I have made some great friends there too! Vibe is the agency to choose!

I heard about Vibe through word of mouth in Australia. Not having worked through a teaching agency before I figured that there couldn’t be much of a difference between them, but was happy to take my mates advice. However - I quickly saw why they were so highly regarded. From my first enquiry email a variety of the Vibe staff followed up with me before I had even moved over to London. They were great at stepping me through the processes and shared their experiences doing the same. As I later found out they were all teachers and many had taken the same journey as me! We had some great chats over the phone and they had some jobs in mind for me even before I’d arrived and registered at the office. The office had a great feel to it. I met many the team and they were super friendly. At induction they put on some drinks and myself and my partner had a great time hanging out with the people we had been speaking to for so long. Their friendly attitudes really sold us on the company and group of people who were working to find us roles. They welcomed us into their community and we’ve made some great friends through working and their social events. At the time I was working supply and they were awesome at prepping you for each work day and had taught at the schools they sent me out to – so you would always know what to expect. Cannot recommend these guys enough!

VIBE are a great agency to work for. They listen to what you want and go above and beyond to get this for you. There is a real sense of community about VIBE which makes living on the other side of the world a lot easier! I would highly recommenced working with VIBE

Vibe are good at getting you in the door and have some sort of internal policy of never emailing, and starting every phone call with 5 minutes of 'bonding time', which is great when everyone is Australian or New Zealander and trying to get along in London but can be irritating when you just need some info that could easily be typed quickly. The rate of pay is £xxx a day, it's one of the lower rates of pay, that said, they will find you work every day, it just may not be your subject area or even what they tell you over the phone. Basically, be prepared for anything and you'll get work every day. Schools are ok, not the best not the worst. I had 2 bad experiences with Vibe. 1, my DBS was not sent to me and I assumed Vibe had it but when I contacted them months later for a copy they had never seen it so I had to pay another £50 to have a new one issued. Annoying but I think a genuine error. Second bad experience was that I was put in a contract fairly quickly that was out of my area, and I made it clear that I'd take it for the meantime but keep looking around for something that suited me better. When I found something my emails of how to leave a current contract were ignored until the day before I started my new position so the school had no notice and no replacement as Vibe also didn't start looking for a replacement when I let them know I wanted to leave. This means the school I put in 6 months of work at will not give me a reference and now have bad feeling towards me when I tried to do the right thing. This was mainly due to Vibe not listening when I said I was only working there until something I wanted came along, or doing anything when I said I was looking and had found something new. I mean, they could have found me a position I wanted and kept the money they make from contractors but instead I have gone to another agency, and a school is now dealing with day after day of cover teachers. Just weird behaviour from Vibe.

I have been with Vibe for 18 months, and it has been the easiest experience. From the word go Vibe have been supportive and gotten me out into different schools and have taken my preferences into consideration, going above and beyond what I expected. Its also nice knowing that the guys in the office still head out into school and are not 'out of date' with their knowledge, so when they tell you about a school, they have experienced it first hand. The Vibe drinks and get togethers are alot of fun and give you a chance to get to know other teachers and put a face to the guys that work in the office. I don't think Vibe drinks has ever been a quiet night and I've made a bunch of friends through all the adventures. Would highly recommend as an agency! Special thanks to Chris, Ross, Rhiannon and the rest of the secondary team for getting me out and enjoying teaching in London!

I had initially signed up to an another supply agency when I first relocated to the UK but soon learned their communication process was not going to be great. What a surprise to then sign with an agency like Vibe who maintained communication regularly throughout my two years in London. I easily developed rapport with the various members of the Office. Worrying about work was never a concern for me as I worked with various different teams which allowed me to have a greater scope of both schools in London and the people behind the phones. Could not recommend the Vibe crew enough and make sure you attend a function and get a chance to meet the people behind the phones. I believe that establishing that higher level of communication between both your agency and the schools is the difference between getting booked regularly!

If you are looking for a teaching agency in London, look no further!! The whole team at Vibe (particularly the Pink team and Phil) have been so very helpful - from the whole process of moving over to the UK, to securing me with supply and fixed term work quickly and with my teaching philosophy in mind. Vibe is such a community as well, hosting a range of awesome gigs for fellow 'vibes'. Could not recommend Vibe enough!!

I encountered optimism, a sense of community, professionalism and a young, friendly and smiling team the second I entered their office. Although not so very young myself anymore and with considerable "baggage", I was swept away by their positive attitude and straightaway felt part of the gang. Have been working with them for nearly a year now and loved every minute. They are open minded, they listen to concerns, they are supportive and take good care of their staff.

Absolutely loved working for Vibe! They were so incredibly helpful, fun and supportive to work for! When returning home to NZ they were amazingly helpful obtaining statements of service even a year after working with them! Great agency to work for 10/10!
