About Vision Teaching

When we launched in 2007, our founders recognised an opportunity to improve the service provided to supply teachers and schools in London by developing long-term partnerships.

Over the past ten years, Vision Teaching has delivered outstanding support to candidates, expanded and built positive relationships with hundreds of schools, developed efficient processes and maintained industry-leading vetting standards. We now offer our candidates a full range of opportunities; day–to–day supply, guaranteed contracts, long-term bookings and permanent opportunities.

We are especially proud of our reputation for supporting international teachers, particularly those from Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and Canada. Members of our London based international team visit these countries every year to provide expert advice to candidates, as we value the personal relationships this allows them to build and maintain on arrival.

In recent years Vision Teaching has developed partnerships to invest in properties throughout London. This means that our international teachers can not only lock in a guaranteed job before they arrive in the UK, they can also secure a great place to live with a landlord who genuinely cares about them.

I have been with Vision for almost 2 years now and I must say they have not yet been beaten by any other agency in terms of friendliness, professional service, or the ability to provide me with constant daily work at a decent rate. I have worked in some great schools. You guys Marc, Mathew, Daniel and others have been very helpful and always have time to listen when I needed to talk. I have finally found a good permanent post through Vision. I always recommend you to everyone I meet!!

I have been working for Vision since Easter 2015.I have also been working with other agencies.Only 3 have been truly active, but Vision have given me most of my assignments. I have been very happy with their service. The consultants are friendly, honest, reliable and always happy to help.

Vision Teaching has been the best agency to work for! I have been in London for just over a year now. Right from the very beginning they were extremely helpful and personable, which made settling in very easy. They have literally found work for me every single day - my only days off have been days that I requested to have off. They have also made my transition into a second year very smooth and easy because I was not left stranded to find a long term position. They are very organized and they make the effort to ensure that all employees are taken care of. I'm really happy I made the decision to work with Vision!

I have been with vision since February 2015. So not too long but I cannot sing their praises enough. I have enjoyed more or less every moment that I have been with them. Amount of work: I was initially on a guaranteed paid scheme but this was changed and even then I was still being called every day to have work given to me which was brilliant as I was quite worried about not finding me work as I have a lot of bills to pay! Of all the agencies I have been with I found them to be very honest, very personable as they made the effort to call up after each new school that I would be sent out to to see how I got on and if I enjoyed it. I never felt pressured by them to go to a school which I didnt like and they tried their utmost best to get me sent out to schools which I was familiar with. Even after leaving the agency as I have now found my NQT placement the staff there have been extremely supportive and have offered me more than just a supply job over the past few months as they have even provided me with emotional support during a difficult time and looked out for me where other agencies havent. Where other agency members can make you feel really crud because you cannot take on a job for whatever reason, vision are very understanding and take the extra time and effort to get you on board to find another post that you could go to or leave you to it to rest if you are unwell and check up on you to see how you are doing. I hope that if I ever do come back to doing supply work, that Vision will take me on board again as it was by far the best agency in London! Johan, Mark, and Matthew... thank you for having me!

I have joined a few agencies adn I believe that Vision Teaching is teh best agency that I have wokred with thus far. They are friendly and personable and always keep in regular contact. Thereis often more than one consultant working with you and for you to help you find a role that suits your skills set, experience and preference. Very happy working for Vision Teaching. I highly recommend them.

I have been working with Vision Teaching for the past year and a half and I can honestly say they are one of the best agencies. They can find you day-to-day supply work in your area either a day before or on the day a school requires a supply. They provide you with good information on the role you will taking on, as well as the requirements of a specific pupil if needed. Aside from day-today supply, they will look for long-term roles that could become permanent, as well as permanent roles. Their staff are very friendly and honest when speaking to them about potential roles. The rate of pay is very good too, all payments are given swiftly and on time. Without a doubt, it is an agency I would recommend to anybody who is looking for work in the education environment. They will do their best to assist you in anyway they can!

I moved to London from Australia in August 2014 I started supply teaching through another agency. After two months of travelling over 70min to work, often not getting a full week of work & rude responses to questions I found myself looking for a new agency. After a recommendation I came to find Vision Teaching & they were a breath of fresh air from day 1! (I even got a friend to change agencies too & got a full day's pay as a thank you) I have always had a constant supply of bookings that are under an hour door to door. The professionalism & staff are what makes Vision a success. They actually LISTEN to your concerns & I was never made to feel guilty if I chose not to return to a school I didn't like. Through the social events I have made new friends who I never would have met. If you are looking for accommodation Vision can also help with that too! Teaching in London is tough enough, if you are looking for an efficient, flexible & professional agency with a personable touch then I definitely recommend Vision. Vision has been the best agency I've ever worked with. I wouldn't have made it into schools in the UK and into my first long-term role if it wasn't for them! Staff has been extremely helpful and always make sure I am placed at the right age group and at a classroom where I can cope and feel condifent to teach. I started with daily supply to get the experience and they gave me work every single day across several months till I got my long-term role through them at an amazing school. Highly recommended to everyone.

So I wanted to write a review and a thank you, because Vision Teaching have been amazing with me. Of course they cover all the normal bases, such as always getting paid on time and actually delivering on work exactly as they say they will. Vision also go beyond that, from the very first contact I had with them I was treated with total respect and compassion, essentially as a human being! At every step along the way they were people i could talk to about anything and who were the most reasonable, compassionate and understating agency I have heard anyone talk about. If being treated well is at all a concern for you, then i couldn't recommend Vision enough. They have been wonderful, and for that guys, Thank you.

I am a Londoner born and bred. I got my teaching qualification from the University of London and have only worked in London primary schools. Contrary to other postings on this web site, I've had a very positive experience since registering with Vision Teaching Recruitment in February 2014 where I have been assigned to fantastic schools every day that I have wanted to work. I've marked the consultancy down for honesty since I felt that one of the consultants was not as open as I would have liked when trying to secure some long term assignments for me although this may have also been in part an issue for or with the schools we were working with. Paywise, for the last four weeks of work, I'm only owed six days from a particular school who were not on the electronic timesheet processing system that the consultancy have set up. The consultancy are very good though at keeping track of missing timesheets and will send weekly reminders.

I joined vision in September of 2014 and have had consistent work the entire time. I'm currently on a long term contract teaching Secondary Drama, which was all set up by vision. The staff are so friendly and were fantastic at helping me set up my life in London. The social events they hold are always a blast and it's a great way to meet other people in London.I definitely recommend this agency.

I started with one teaching agency who did not listen to my requests and so I was disheartened with my first experience. I stumbled across Vision Teaching I told them what I wanted and they delivered as they promised. What more can you ask for.

I love Vision Teaching! Craig, Daniel, and the rest of the staff are wonderful. They are professional, but caring. They do everything they can to make sure I have work on days that I'm available and they are always there to chat if I have any issues.
