At Horizon Teachers, we have been building strong relationships with Primary, Secondary and SEN Schools, Teachers and Support Staff across London and the South East since 2008.

Many of us are former teachers, with extensive experience in Primary, Secondary and SEN education. But regardless of where we’ve come from, we all passionately share one common goal: to enhance children’s education.

We commit to achieving this goal daily, through helping aspiring teachers kick-start their careers and enabling experienced teachers develop into outstanding educators. Our approach is both personalised and holistic, with quality and integrity at the heart of everything we do.

We understand the value of Continuing Professional Development, which is why we offer free, regular training workshops for all our teaching staff. We also offer ongoing support for our schools through solving staffing issues and providing outstanding customer service on a daily basis.

Horizon Teachers is a fantastic agency with many roles available. I would like to give a special shout-out to Nola who is an absolute star! She was very helpful in placing me in a secondary school role, and providing me with tips in succeeding the interview process. Nola has amazing communication skills, and is very fast and efficient throughout the whole process. Definitely recommend!

Nola has been an incredible agent for me at Horizon Teachers. I’ve worked in many sectors and sincerity, kindness and efficiency = all in one; isn’t something I’ve traditional associated with recruitment agencies. It’s a pretty unique combination & essential for the Education sector, as schools are ‘people’ environments, cultural, caring environments of mutual respect. It’s been a joy working for this agency and it makes me super reluctant to even try another one. Thanks for a great year and a fantastic, diverse selection of ‘London’ schools.

I have worked with Horizon Teachers since 2021. I have found them excellent. They always have plenty of work in good schools. I often can only do part time days or weeks and they always try to accommodate my requirements whilst keeping the client schools happy too which cannot always be easy. I have had a number of team members giving me work over time and most recently Nola has been looking after me and I have found her to be professional, helpful and responsive at all times - I would definitely recommend the Horizon teachers company and Nola individually.

Horizon teachers on the whole is a great agency as they are absolutely professional and reliable. This being my first working via agency, I have had a really positive experience so far and enjoyed it. Registration process was fairly easy. No time was wasted and they found me a job quite quickly. I am very pleased that I signed up with them. As a whole, everyone at Horizon teachers is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. Special shout out to my agent Josephine who has been exceptional. As my main contact, she has been amazing! Not only has she put me in a fantastic role which suits me but she is so kind and helpful in every way. I have been with horizon teachers for nearly a year and Josephine has been the best. She is so kind and helpful in every way. Horizon Teachers is still as efficient and very very good as in 2009. I started working after two days of my interview. Opportunities and experiences are great. Horizon are often quite bad at texting you with the promise of work, and then never getting back to you to confirm said work. However, I’d like to give a shout out to Rina who is always very efficient, helpful and prompt in her responses. She works hard to ensure all all information is passed over on time and is a pleasure to deal with. Thanks for your help, Rina!
