About Horizon Teachers

At Horizon Teachers, we have been building strong relationships with Primary, Secondary and SEN Schools, Teachers and Support Staff across London and the South East since 2008.

Many of us are former teachers, with extensive experience in Primary, Secondary and SEN education. But regardless of where we’ve come from, we all passionately share one common goal: to enhance children’s education.

We commit to achieving this goal daily, through helping aspiring teachers kick-start their careers and enabling experienced teachers develop into outstanding educators. Our approach is both personalised and holistic, with quality and integrity at the heart of everything we do.

We understand the value of Continuing Professional Development, which is why we offer free, regular training workshops for all our teaching staff. We also offer ongoing support for our schools through solving staffing issues and providing outstanding customer service on a daily basis.

I had an amazing experience with Horizon teachers all thanks to Danny! He was quick with responses, always kept me updated and overall extremely helpful and supportive. I was registered with Horizon Teachers on a Friday and the following Tuesday I had an interview and now have a new job role starting next week! There is not a single negative thing to say about my experience with Horizon teachers and I have Danny to thank for that. I have already recommended the agency to others and will continue to do so. Excellent service.

I can honestly say the best agency to work with. The consultant David Edden is fantastic, I received excellent support from him. David is a brilliant listener he is kind, calm and very understanding, David has tried effortlessly to meet by requirements for travelling type of school etc. I would highly recommend Horizon teachers . Amazing agency to work with and very supportive. I worked with Tom for 6 months on a temp to perm contract which is now perminant. He has been very supportive and fought for what I have wanted. I would recommend Horizon to anyone who wants to work in education.

Horizon Teachers were really lovely and easy to work with. My main point of contact, Danny, was always so helpful and encouraging. He set me up with some work as a Cover Supervisor and regularly kept in touch to discuss other opportunities for me, including securing me two interviews for long term positions. Everyone I dealt with was really helpful (Rebecca, Daryl, Lowri and Tom) but Danny's a cut above the rest - genuinely lovely guy who wants the best for his clients. Don't hesitate to get in touch with these guys if you're looking for some work in schools because they work really hard to find you a great fit.

I signed up to this agency in an effort to find a position in a school but, ultimately, I had a change in circumstances so I did not end up continuing with Horizon. That being said, my experience with them was incredibly positive - the staff were lovely and extremely helpful, especially Tom Jobson and Daniel Coyles. They were incredibly approachable and made the whole process so much easier. If you're interested in working in a school, I definitely recommend going through Horizon!

Paul was quick off the mark getting me into supply teaching . Really listened to what I wanted to do eg how many days I could work and which age range I felt most comfortable with. He was able to get me work , at the same school for a couple of days a week which suited me perfectly. Thoroughly recommend Horizon , especially Paul.

Mej and Louise were great in helping me get my new job. I signed up for horizon teachers not long ago. I then received a call from lowri which was very nice and friendly. She found me amazing schools to work at which I really enjoyed. She also makes sure she checks up on me regularly to see how I’m doing. She is honestly one of the most kindest and supporting consultants I know !

I applied to a post for teaching assistants at Galliard school on a p/t basis via Total jobs and Umar Shah called me a few days later to come in for an interview at Horizon Teachers in Fenchchurch street, London. Umar came down to meet me at reception on the day, he was very nice and welcoming. He was very patient in waiting for me to sort finances for my DBS Form. I have rated Horizon Teachers to my friend.
