At Horizon Teachers, we have been building strong relationships with Primary, Secondary and SEN Schools, Teachers and Support Staff across London and the South East since 2008.

Many of us are former teachers, with extensive experience in Primary, Secondary and SEN education. But regardless of where we’ve come from, we all passionately share one common goal: to enhance children’s education.

We commit to achieving this goal daily, through helping aspiring teachers kick-start their careers and enabling experienced teachers develop into outstanding educators. Our approach is both personalised and holistic, with quality and integrity at the heart of everything we do.

We understand the value of Continuing Professional Development, which is why we offer free, regular training workshops for all our teaching staff. We also offer ongoing support for our schools through solving staffing issues and providing outstanding customer service on a daily basis.

I signed up to this agency in an effort to find a position in a school but, ultimately, I had a change in circumstances so I did not end up continuing with Horizon. That being said, my experience with them was incredibly positive - the staff were lovely and extremely helpful, especially Tom Jobson and Daniel Coyles. They were incredibly approachable and made the whole process so much easier. If you're interested in working in a school, I definitely recommend going through Horizon!

Paul was quick off the mark getting me into supply teaching . Really listened to what I wanted to do eg how many days I could work and which age range I felt most comfortable with. He was able to get me work , at the same school for a couple of days a week which suited me perfectly. Thoroughly recommend Horizon , especially Paul.

Mej and Louise were great in helping me get my new job. Every time i have interacted with Louise she has been helpful and supportive and that has been refreshing after dealing with many agencies over the years. I have worked for Horizon for nearly a year now and they have ensured that I have had as much work as I required. Louise and Paul are brilliant consultants, who are friendly, helpful and very approachable. I would highly recommend this supply agency to anyone looking for teaching supply work.

I signed up for horizon teachers not long ago. I then received a call from lowri which was very nice and friendly. She found me amazing schools to work at which I really enjoyed. She also makes sure she checks up on me regularly to see how I’m doing. She is honestly one of the most kindest and supporting consultants I know !

I applied to a post for teaching assistants at Galliard school on a p/t basis via Total jobs and Umar Shah called me a few days later to come in for an interview at Horizon Teachers in Fenchchurch street, London. Umar came down to meet me at reception on the day, he was very nice and welcoming. He was very patient in waiting for me to sort finances for my DBS Form. I have rated Horizon Teachers to my friend.

I really enjoy working through Horizon Teachers! All the staff I have had interactions with have been very helpful. The payroll is also very reliable! My consultant Louise is brilliant; she keeps me busy with lots of bookings in locations that are very accessible. She is professional and caring without over familiarity. I really appreciate all the help and support I get from this fantastic agency!

Horizon Teachers are a very efficient supply agency. They are always extremely polite and helpful and go out of their way to find appropriate work for teachers. They are always friendly and create a great atmosphere . I could not recommend them highly enough. My contact is mainly Paul who is the epitome of efficiency and helpfulness. I work part time, and my days change,which is never a problem for Paul who is akways as helpful as possible.

I've worked with a few agencies, but Horizon has been far the most consistent to find me what I'm looking for and they never quit of finding a school and a position that suits your profile. While working as a day to day supply they try to book you in advance which gives you the chance to plan your week ahead according to your availability. Very happy with this agency and the consultants that I've been working with! They found me a secure job, but if I need an agency in the future I'll go back to Horizon Teachers again for sure.

I was happy with these guys until I was sent to a school for a role which was not described correctly. At that time, I couldn't commit to a class responsibility owing to my studies and I had made that very clear. Well, they sent me to a school which supposedly wanted someone as a cover meaning not much planning etc. Turns out it WAS a full time class teacher role. I found a job through another agency eventually. Months later when I was looking for a permanent position, they found me one in a lovely school but things had end with me turning down the job a while later because of a bereavement in the family and having to move abroad. I was asked to call the school myself and tell them because they might ask me questions...Note that I hadn't signed any contract yet! I ended up emailing the school which actually asked me to tell the agency as I had imagined. It's a common truth that when you're with an agency, the hard work is done for you. I felt that the consultant was basically failing to do his job and trying to avoid to do the hard part of his job. Both instances were with xxxxx. Kwesi mentioned above was good. All agencies suck but we all know they're necessary. In the end, it all comes down to your consultant.

My experience with Horizon Teachers has been fantastic. Kwesi Armah was my recruitment consultant. He worked tirelessly to communicate with me nearly daily to update me on openings. He also provided me with ample information to make informed decisions to accept interviews and how to prepare for the interviews. His relationship with schools is outstanding. Kwesi is a very honest, open and personable consultant and without him I believe I would not have secured the 7 offers I had received during a one week visit to London. Kwesi is a truly outstanding professional with a high degree of integrity. I highly recommend him to any teacher or leader seeking a new position. When working with Kwesi the job search became easy and there is no doubt that when I am ready to seek employment in the future, I will want to work exclusively with him to secure a future role.
