Lottie and her team was helpful and efficient. I was set up quickly in a school for a regular two days locally and when I want additional work in my area they always accommodate me. I would recommend them to any teacher or TA I meet.

Lottie and the Team have been amazing in securing me adhoc work in and around South & East London areas for the past six months. Forward Teaching has been the best supply agency I have found. The communication is absolutely amazing and I always feel like I can ask questions, reschedule if necessary, and the payments are always right on time. Lottie Rowland is my direct contact for Forward Teaching and I am incredibly thankful at how helpful she has been to me. Not being from the UK but having taught in the past, many things are super different and she has patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. She is fantastic at messaging me ahead of time and booking me in sometimes even a whole week in advance which is incredible and no other agency I have found does this well at all. I like knowing where I am going and can plan the rest of my life and other jobs around this. Also, I get booked every time I am available to work. There is no waiting by the phone early in the morning for me to not get placed goes the day. Incredibly thankful to have found Forward Teaching!

Excellent Customer Service I was a little apprehensive about working got an agency as I’ve always sourced work myself. Forward Teaching provided a placement for me in a school Where I’ve been offered a permanent position and completely enjoy. Lottie and her staff made me feel confident in trusting her team and the were extremely professional and personable. Extremely grateful and glad I put my faith in such a company!

I've never met a more professional and adaptive recruitment company then Forward Teaching. I do full time supply with them around my acting career. They are very flexible when I have auditions and castings meaning I can pursue my dream and earn a decent salary while doing so. Would highly recommend!

I’ve worked for a number of agencies in my many years. Forward Teaching was highly recommended to me by an old colleague and I’m so very glad I contacted them. What an amazing agency. Lottie in particular was so professional, honest and knowledgable. Lottie made herself available outside office hours to fit around my work and personal commitments, and went above and beyond for me. I have read the other reviews and just wonder if we are talking about the same agency! As a semi retired deputy head I signed on with 3 agencies including Forward Teachers and procured regular work immediately with the other 2 agencies, not with Forward Teachers. I had no problems getting paid through the formers' online dashboard, with no problems over any tax deduction as the tax coding was clearly explained. The ONE time I secured work through Forward I was deducted tax which I hadn't been through the other agencies, so I naturally asked for clarification, as you do. The next thing I know is I get a phone call in the evening- when work phone calls shouldn't be made - from the owner shouting at me saying I was 'PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE'- and I would swear an affidavit to this! I couldn't believe she was being so unprofessional and aggressive about my query so I hung up. Maybe I got her on a bad day, but even so it was SO unprofessional. All this because of a simple query over my tax deduction -HMRC get queries all the time without hurling personal abuse at people! I am hoping to get this resolved quickly so I don't ever have to deal with them again. Maybe I was unlucky but I know I wouldn't -and haven't-recommended this agency to a couple of my teaching friends who are looking to go into supply work, as I think too highly of my friends to do so. Instead, I have recommended my other agencies to them. Finally, I should add that I secured a long term contract with an outstanding school through one of my other agencies, so I am really happy with their services and will stay with them.

Forward Teaching was recommended to me by a colleague in a previous school and, from the outset, I am so glad it was! Having joined a couple of other agencies, I soon ditched them as they were simply no match for Lottie’s honest, down-to-earth and friendly manner. Lottie really understands the world of education and has a wealth of knowledge and experience. I had never worked as a supply teacher before, and I have felt incredibly well-supported during each part of the process. Lottie has really listened to my particular needs and worked hard to find the right school for me. She regularly checks in to see how everything is going, and recently, when an issue arose, was there to listen and offer sound advice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Forward Teaching to anyone looking for a ten-star service, with bells on!!

I couldn’t recommend a better agency to work with. During Covid I felt completely lost with job applications, was the longest time I had been unemployed and stumbled across Forward Teaching. Lottie is by far the most supportive agent I have come across within agency work. When I didn’t get jobs I wanted she picked me up and helped me feel confident that employment was soon coming my way. She was always in regular contact with me, reassuring me that she was active on my behalf. In just three weeks I was with a school for three terms and then Lottie helped me move to another school after where I ended up receiving a permanent contract. I couldn’t of found a better person to help me on this journey and feel eternally grateful for everything Lottie has done for me. Thank you Lottie.

An extremely personable and professional agency. Lottie (Team Leader) secured me a place at a school as a TA within a week of our initial interview. This agency goes above and beyond to make sure roles are filled with the most suitable candidates, tailored to the experience and needs of the school and employee. I worked for 3 months under Forward Teaching, and was regularly contacted for support, advice or a friendly chat. It’s inspirational to see such a tight knit, small team leading the education agency world in London. I would personally recommend this FT for anyone looking to work under a supportive, caring and just lovely agency. My experience with Forward Teaching has inspired me to pursue a career as a teacher, if that’s an indication of how the company is run!
