Having registered with a number of agencies, I found Opogo to be the only one where the recruitment consultants really listen, leaving me without that dread sense that "time is money", proving the longer-term relationship with a client is what matters in terms of matching the right teacher to the right school. Ashley, in particular, has been a revelation, showing genuine interest in what I might have to offer a school outside my immediate teaching skills, and going the extra mile to find the best placement for me. This mature level of understanding also means that we can be honest with each other, and I even look forward to sharing an extracurricular cup of tea one day, plus biscuits, of course.

To be honest I don’t know where to start. The overall agency is phenomenal. I first called the company after seeing many great reviews/ feedback and spoke to John. From my first conversation with John I could sense genuinity, something not all agencies/ recruiter have. However, lo and behold I them spoke to Asim and a few other members of the Opogo team and they all radiate the same ethos, energy and mindset when trying to help me get work. But overall I’d really love to thank Ella Stevens, her swift communication, transparency, positive mindset and listening skills was the cherry on the cake for me. I can see myself working with Opogo long-term because they really want to invest in you and have your individual needs as top priority. Lastly, the Opogo App.. wow yeah very convenient, easy to use and quick. Excellent customer service from the whole Opogo team! Thank you for being amazing!!!

Since working with Opogo , I was placed in a local school at the start of the year for a long term role (matched perfectly by Yagmur !). I quickly became fond of the school , and began feeling part of the team and enjoyed building friendships with other staff members . I then was offered a permanent role at the school , and I now begin teaching my own class in September! I am so grateful and thankful for being placed in this particular school , and I look forward to my future there .

The Opogo app makes it easy to manage jobs and access further training, as well as being a really great tool for those wishing to use it. However, though I do understand that they were eager to find work for me, at times I found the number of phone calls and emails I was receiving from the agency somewhat overwhelming. Regarding those I worked with, one person really stands out to me - Jordan Blair (Senior Talent Acquisition). Jordan was a pleasure to work with. She was very enthusiastic throughout my time with the agency, and she really got to the bottom of any work-related questions I had. I felt like she was doing her best for me and my situation, and I appreciated her honesty. Based on my experience, I would recommend Opogo to others. My ratings reflect this overall experience and are not a specific rating of Ms Blair.

Opogo was my first experience of agency work and it has been really positive. Within a week of joining they found me a job which was almost tailor made for me. Ashley and Jack are always friendly and available when I have needed to talk to them. Overall I find Opogo very professional, honest and trustworthy.

Opogo is the first agency I've ever used, and I can't recommend them enough. Plenty of work, personalised service, always happy to help, great communication via App or call, listen to individual requirements. I would like to give a special thanks to Samuel Pye (Sam) for his amazing help and encouragement, as well as getting me regular work. I would also like to thank Asim Rahman for his aid in my journey at Opogo. I personally appreciate the flexibility shown to me, allowing me to work around my family and given that my health isn't at its best to do work regularly. Sam is especially supportive - he always responds quickly and is considerate of my cancellations.

I’ve just completed my first academic year with Opogo and it has been amazing !!! Opogo is a great job if you would like flexibility and what suits you around your life, they cater to your needs and what is comfortable to you which i think makes them unique and great to work with. I couldn’t have done it with Sam who I genuinely think is the best person to work with. He has been so great in terms of consistency, always checking up on me and how i’m doing at the school. He has helped me balance university life alongside working which i’ve struggled to do in the past so I’m very grateful. I have no bad words to say about the agency and i’m looking forward for the next academic year.

I've worked with Opogo since autumn 2019, all members of staff are professional and friendly. They have a very good selection of schools that will add to your skills ad experience. There is always plenty of work but never any pressure to take more than you want. Highly recommended !

Working for Opogo has opened up opportunities for me and the recruitment team is lovely to work for! The app is simple, practical and gives you autonomy as you can accept bookings on the go.
