About Vision Teaching

When we launched in 2007, our founders recognised an opportunity to improve the service provided to supply teachers and schools in London by developing long-term partnerships.

Over the past ten years, Vision Teaching has delivered outstanding support to candidates, expanded and built positive relationships with hundreds of schools, developed efficient processes and maintained industry-leading vetting standards. We now offer our candidates a full range of opportunities; day–to–day supply, guaranteed contracts, long-term bookings and permanent opportunities.

We are especially proud of our reputation for supporting international teachers, particularly those from Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and Canada. Members of our London based international team visit these countries every year to provide expert advice to candidates, as we value the personal relationships this allows them to build and maintain on arrival.

In recent years Vision Teaching has developed partnerships to invest in properties throughout London. This means that our international teachers can not only lock in a guaranteed job before they arrive in the UK, they can also secure a great place to live with a landlord who genuinely cares about them.

If you want to work with a recruitment agency that is candidate-driven and values efficient, personal service then we would love to hear from you.

Too be honest all the staff at Vision Teachingh are super cool! The schools that I worked at was local which was perfect during the colder months. I wish I had found them sooner. I came over to London last year with a different agency and was promised the world. Unfortunately it transpires I had been sold the dream and this was quickly becoming a nightmare. I was not picked up from the airport as "my consultant forgot" and I was living in a hostel for 5 weeks whilst travelling an hour and a half for work. I was recommended to join Vision Teaching and things quickly changed. The guys helped me to find accommodation within a week and were always on hand to help with any queries or advise me on good areas to live in. They got me work straight away and this has usually been within 30 mins of my door. I am now in my second year in London, working 5 days a week in schools that I enjoy and loving the experience. I honestly couldn't of done it without they guys support and I couldn't recommend them any higher. Thanks for everything.

I was referred to Vision Teaching from a friend who had been doing supply work, and I'm fairly happy with my choice. It took quite some time to secure an interview, but I'm incredibly happy with the school I am at! Timesheet's for full-time work weren't explained very well, nor was overtime, and I've run into a few snafus. I was also informed my pay would be much higher when I was talking with Vision, and was surprised that it wasn't. Another thing that was quite frustrating was that I was told time and time again that getting a bank account would be easier and would be possible based on a deal Vision had with a local bank. I was not told prior to leaving Canada and therefore didn't bring enough money to last me until I moved into my flat, which was incredibly frustrating. Further, Vision's deal with Mainpay was also not explained very well, just an FYI there is a fairly steep administration fee taken off each paycheque. I was also told I would be able to expense my temporary accommodation and flights, usually when expensing something you get the money back in full or close to full, however, Mainpay supposedly uses it to deduct from your NI every week. However, while all of these are incredibly frustrating, I would not have met my roommate if it weren't for Sital. Vision did make arriving in London very smooth with airport pickup and the induction day.

Vision Teaching has a very personal approach to maintaining a positive working environment. The recruiting process is made very easy, with each individual receiving a personal consultant that guides you through the recruiting process. This includes getting to know you through phone conversations, and email. The introduction to Vision Teaching is reassuring that they are there to assist and support all staff, including social events, seven day a week assistance when necessary, personal consultant contact and ensuring that all employees are comfortable in their working conditions. Overall, Vision Teaching operates a teaching agency that offers teachers from overseas a home away from home.

Overall, I was quite pleased by Vision Teaching this last academic year- they really took their time at welcoming their new international teachers and making sure that we felt comfortable, here in London. Their staff have always been open and personable to talk to, and raise any issues (not that I really had any, though) with. I would say however, that at times it was a tad frustrating when trying to get ahold of their staff, as most went home right or even before, 5:00pm, right when most teachers' days finish up. BUT overall, very happy with Vision Teaching. I have already recommended this agency to two other teachers, and will continue to do so!))

I previously gave these guys bad reviews and decided to get work from other agencies. Apologies to Marc, I now see the error of my ways. You were actually a great agency and I wish I hadn't given you the bad undeserved review. Marc I am really grateful for all the work you found me and being understanding when I had problems with a long term placement at one of my schools. Recently I got a call from Johan who is also a asset to them. Keep up the good work!

Vision Teaching had been from the start like a family to me. They do everything in their power to make you feel welcomed and at home. In all my year of working with them, I was left one day without work (which is pretty amazing). Their service is just incredible. Without them I probably would have never come to London and lived that experience. I am sooo grateful to them for all their help. They check on you regularly to make sure that you have everything that you need. Like I said, they treat you like family. Thank you so much Vision for having me work for you. I wish you all the best.

I can't speak highly enough of Vision, they are a group of dedicated, hard working and friendly individuals who constantly go above and beyond for their teachers. I've worked/communicated mainly with Zahra and she couldn't be more helpful, personable and just wonderful. She is always available to help or just have a chat even while communicating across the world in different time zones. My experience in London is that much better having been with Vision.

Love working for Vision. They are by far the nicest agency I've worked with in my time in London. Charlotte is my advisor and is truly exceptional at her job. The little touches like Christmas/Birthday cards, good luck messages and calls after the first day on new placements to check the teacher is happy are all fantastic touches. These compliment what is at its core a fantastic professional service.

I'm a UK trained primary teacher and I joined vision last year after not getting much work from my other agency. Vision kept me busy for the rest of the year and got me a long term role for this year where I'm doing my Nqt. I was kept in the loop through the whole clearing process and when there was a problem with my reference they called me straight away so I could call my ref. Davina, Gemma and louisa were great the whole way through and I felt like Matt and Johan on the East team really listened to what I wanted. Which is why I have my dream job right now. Can't recommend enough!

Vision Teaching is by far the most personable and friendly agency I have spoke to, which made it easy for me to choose to go with them. They have helped me every step of the way, including Visas, paper work, and even help in finding permanent accommodations. They always keep in contact, and reply very quickly with questions, and even give you a call now and again to make sure everything is on track. They helped make my transition to London very easy, and they make you part of the team from day one. I have and will continue to recommend Vision to all of my fellow teachers! Deserving of all Stars!
