There is no gainsaying the fact that Timeplan is the leading Education Agency of all time. I joined Timeplan in 2014 and I can honestly say they are the best. This testament does not come as a result of my experience and observation alone but also because they were recommended to me by a School where I was volunteering as a trainee Teaching Assistant prior to my progression into supply work. They have been instrumental in contributing to my career growth and development. They are very accommodative when it comes to your choices and prefences, they always work with you to match your requests with the best possible option. They offer fantastic client service; all the consultants I have worked with to include Natalie, Amina, have been absolutely remarkable. Above all, since the present pandemic situation, they have proved their outstanding quality by supporting their supply workers in no little way to get through, I would certainly recommend Timeplan to anyone desiring working in the teaching and education Industry. God Bless Timeplan.

I started work with Timeplan in March 2021, the staff are very helpful and professional. I really enjoyed working at the schools I was sent to, the staff checked up on me to see how I was getting on. This gave me the assurance that they really cared about me and my work. I have had no issues with them regarding pay because they paid me on time without me chasing after them. I would recommend Timeplan to anyone looking for a very reliable agency because they are the best agency I have ever worked with.

With so very many (over 500 education recruitment) agencies out there, and with your CV attracting so many calls when it's out there, it's really easy to get overwhelmed and end up not just signing up with many agencies, but not necessarily the best agencies. Having spoken to somewhere between 80-100 education agents over the last year, I can not only vouch for Timeplan, I can proactively encourage anyone looking for a bespoke, properly tailored high -end recruitment agency to get in touch with them. There's none of the often quite unpleasant and aggressive pre-signing up shenanigans - that part of the process is actually enjoyable and memorable: none of the blasting a million personal questions at you and then demanding hundreds of documents. None of those hideous lengthy impersonal forms that demand all your personal details being sent to a faceless entity you never hear from again. I dealt with Marco on joining up, who made it feel like a friendly chat - and then Alistair was brilliant at placing me in a school that was local and then was also available throughout when inevitable goalpost changes occurred; the school system is almost unrecognisable internally now, to how it operated a few years ago, and having a superlative agent to steer you when you're not a permanent staff member is key. I 200% recommend Timeplan. The behind the scenes (accounts & finance) people are also fantastic and super-efficient; how rare is that? Also the training they offer you in terms of CPD is second-to-none. Actually blasts the old-fashioned notion of being signed up to an agency as second-best to permanent, totally out of the water!

A terrible company who lied throughout the process about the kind of school they were sending me to. When I arrived and realised that the school was in a terrible situation with demoralised staff, falling student numbers, a headteacher on the verge of quitting and no real route to improvement, Timeplan simply stopped responding to emails. A terrible disreputable company.

Been messed around no end, with the money one week you get paid one thing the next week same job same school, put there's an excuse why you get paid £40 less. I turned up to 2 schools this year where I got there and I was not needed and then they were not going to pay me. How they treat the people that work for them is astonishing.

Registered with this agency Timeplan in the New year. Not one Job. Rates of pay they offered was lower than other agencies. The secondary lead consultant had a poor attitude during the registration and looked and behaved ghetto. Staff do not return emails and I believe it's because they do not have work; but choose to misrepresent staff.

I’ve been with Timeplan for 6 months now. I’ve had two jobs in total (a month each). Both times they failed to pay me the first week so I ended up overdrawn at the bank. I had to chase them a LOT to get my money paid to me even though I’d already completed the work. They pay £25 a day less than other agencies and I was told I’d be getting paid less as all the planning/resourcing was done yet when I arrived I found not a single resource in the department and ended up providing them with 2 full terms worth of work and resources to keep the team afloat. No renumeration or thanks has come my way for this at all. The job is a 40 minute drive and apparently there’s nothing locally at all, yet I see many jobs advertised by other agencies on Indeed.

They came to Sydney to discuss working and they sounded very friendly at the interviews and when I was in Australia at the time. However, this was not the case once in London. They said they could give us ideas or websites for finding accommodation (they didn't), help us with directions (they didn't) and a few other things. Very little contact or help with them once in London. The pay was very low to start with and took months and months to go up. Even when I was earning my absolute highest with them at about one year in, it was still up to 25 pounds less per day than friends working at other agencies. Yes, per day! There was even a time when we caught them slightly 'altering' our resumes to make us sound like we had had more experience in different areas then we had. This came known to us when a school showed my friend her resume the agency was sending the school. We then all asked them to send us a copy of our resume they had on file. It was not what we had originally sent them. I was bullied and made to feel terrible when they wouldn't help me with my sponsorship visa to stay on in the UK. I asked for help, assistance and interviews for 6 months!!! The agency gets a huge commission when they place you, especially for a sponsorship. It was in their best interest to place me. They only got me interviews because I began talking to other agencies, and even then they were incredibly unprofessional to me and extremely rude that I had decided to search else where. They then told my regular schools I no longer wanted to go to their school anymore, which was absolutely not true! They got me one interview and gave me less than 24 hours notice. They told the school I wanted to do the interview before they even asked me or told me anything about the job. It was 2.5 hours away and in a different year group then I had requested. Overall, this agency was the worst thing about my London experience and I would not recommend them. They make you feel like they are doing you a favour, like you are stuck with them and no one else. This is not true at all. They work for you, not you for them!!!

I supply taught with TimePlan from February to May 2019 and really loved it. The girls in the office made getting my paperwork done easy, and I had work whenever I wanted it at great schools. They were also very understanding and supportive whenever I didn't want to work, whether it was for a holiday or a sick day, and were extremely flexible. I will say that they are maybe a little bit disorganized in the beginning (one of my references continually got emails asking for information he had already given another team member, etc.) but once I got there, the girls were nothing but helpful and felt very on my side. It was great having someone advocate for you and understand your needs as a teacher.

I am currently a supply placement teacher at Thurso High School through Timeplan. As I write this we are approaching the mid-term break. I have settled into Thurso H.S., and am preparing for the second half of the spring term. I even have a few regular classes. There is , in most of the school , A strong sense of collegiality amongst the staff. I have been asked to write a short program to introduce LGBT tolerance within the school community. This will be taught across the whole school during PSE. Hopefully this will well-placed me to be a desirable teacher for placements in the coming academic year (2019-2020) so that I can teach my registered subjects. Thurso is an incredibly beautiful place and the school, although desperately needing more money invested in it (as with many schools, whether in the UK, or Australia) is a pleasant place to teach, and be employed in. I am punctual in filling out my timesheets, and find the pay process is completed in a timely manner.

I was an overseas teacher from Canada who worked a full term in the UK. It was by far one of the best experiences of my life, I wish I could have stayed longer however I needed to get my life started back home. At first I was very skeptical as this would be my first time leaving home however the agency was very supportive and helpful in both the application process and during the transition period. Timeplan Education is an amazing agency, prior to arriving in the UK we were always in contact and any questions or concerns I had they reassured me and aided me in anyway they could. Upon my arrival they contacted to me make sure I arrived safely and set up a meeting to verify my documents and even provided me with a bank letter as I was struggling to set up an account in the UK. I can truthfully say they were very supportive and they checked in every once in a while to make sure things were going well. They also made it clear that I could contact them whenever I needed. Originally I had signed on to a guarantee supply contract but they were able to find me a more stable position as a relief teacher for the term and it was amazing. I am so grateful I got to work for an amazing agency. Timeplan also set up many social events, unfortunately I was unable to attend them but they do make efforts to ensure their overseas teachers are doing well. Overall, it was an experience I will never forget and one that has allowed me to grow not only as a person but as an educator as well. Thank you Timeplan for everything! I highly recommend this agency and if I wasn’t working for a school board here in Canada I would for sure do this again.

Had an awful experience of TimePlan. Got a call from them concerning a short term illness vacancy at one of Londons top schools. They had found my cv and it was my teaching subject. Although I live in the Midlands, and the agency knew this, they wanted to put my name forward to the school. Next day, Friday, I was told that the school wanted me to cover, initially for 2weeks, possibly 4, until Xmas. Got an email from the agency confirming the booking, start day of the following Tuesday, 8am start, with a contact, the Heads PA. Rearranged my plans for the next month, cancelled some local supply I had been offered, and took the train down to London. Luckily, planned to stay with my son initially, with the aim, if necessary, of renting for the rest of the cover period. On the Monday, took 3 hour round trip from south London to their offices in Finchley central to register, verify documents, meet the agency etc. I was actually quite impressed by them. However, on arriving back in south London, I got an email from the agency sent at 6pm that evening, telling me that the school had cancelled the booking, as the HOD at the school had" found a retired teacher she knows"to fill the vacancy instead. Given the lengths to which I had gone to to make myself available , I was extremely angry. My contact at TimePlan insisted that schools often did this, and profusely apologised for the fact that I had had a wasted 300 mile round trip, but I insisted that I would speak to the school to express my feelings. The agency were desperate for me not to do this, so I gave them 24 hours to get the school to contact me. When this never happened, I contacted the school and spoke to the aforementioned contact. She informed me that the school had not found a replacement at all. TimePlan had done this, and they had done it two days before I travelled down to London. The school, I was told, were not aware of the fact that I was coming to London from the Midlands specifically to fill their vacancy. Plainly, when I went into the TimePlan offices on that Monday, they knew that there was no job for me, yet sat in front of me, reminding me of the start time, details of the school day, and confirmation of the fact that I would be working there for a minimum of 2 weeks. Subsequently, I have had no contact from TimePlan, and they have made no attempt to reimburse me for my time and expense of travelling down to London. However, far worse are the lies that they have given to me to try to cover up their deception, blaming the school instead. I won't be using them again.
