I have worked with Teachingpersonnel for over a year now. The staff are all very friendly. My personal consultan she has regularly called to check that I am ok and regular feed back. I was really impressed with the way the agency handled the furlough scheme and I was paid before anyone else I know and well before the government actually released the funds to employers.

I have worked for some lovely schools with this agency. The staff are all very friendly. My personal consultant always calls to check on my work preferences/availability and even during the covid19 situation, she has regularly called to check that I am ok and have a friendly chat. A great agency who provide lots of opportunities for work! Jade Tennyson (Hull Branch) continues to keep in regular contact and has been very helpful over the course of my employment with them. I was also impressed that Teaching Personnel were quick to investigate whether supply staff were eligible for any income under the current COVID-19 Furlough Scheme.

They are the only agency who paid me before they got government funds under the job retention scheme. My other agency (Education Network) haven't even told me if they are going to pay me. Well done Teaching Personnel.

I have not had any problem with TP. They have always found me work and are available to answer any questions. I have been with TP since January 2018 and have had two short term placements and am currently in a long term placement. The contact I have now is very good, she is still contacting me even in these awful times.

I have worked with Teaching Personnel for 3 months and have found them an excellent agency to work for. They contact you regularly and check in when you are on longer term placements. I found the more information I gave TP about my preferences, for example distance I was willing to travel/ age groups I wanted to work with, the more suitable the work they offered me was and I have been lucky to work in some great schools. I have worked almost daily with Teaching Personnel (which I asked for) and would recommend them highly.

My experience with this agency has been great. Within my first two weeks of working I had been at two different schools fairly local. I was then offered a long term position at a school which was great as it gave some job security and I knew where I was day to day. Harry was very good at getting my application done for me and getting me into schools. Jade was always very helpful when I had any issues or queries. I am now going onto a contract with the school thanks to Teaching Personnel.

Teaching Personnel have been a very supportive and efficient agency to work with over the past year and a half. They have consistently provided me with work, as well as numerous CPD opportunities. Additionally, they are always very prompt regarding communication and sorting out any worries or concerns that I may have. I highly recommend Teaching Personnel.

I've worked for Teaching Personal for nearly two years. I have one key contact who has always been very informative and supportive both within a placement and in identifying future jobs. Have had both short term and long term placements, and have been able to negotiate some additional money for places a considerable distance away. Issues around time sheets and payments have always been resolved quickly and i feel very supported at this current time, having furloughed wages secured for me. When my named worker is not available the rest of the team have always been really great and either passed on a message or resolved my problem. The agency also have a great user friendly website for staff. Very happy to reccommend Teaching Personel.

I have worked for Teaching Personnel for nearly a year. When you start you are basically assigned a contact who will send you emails offering further training, any updates etc. During Covid19 my contact has messaged me once a week, checking in and offering me alternative methods to keep myself busy during this difficult time. As soon as my DBS came through (which you do have to pay for but you only pay £13 per year for it there after (£44 upfront)) I was offered work the next week. I have really enjoyed working for TP. After you have done 10 shifts in a row you get this green online coin and you put it in one of 6 donation boxes. Which I love even now. They do contact you first thing in the morning as that is when most schools say they need agency staff but most times they will call you one or two days ahead. You can log your availability online as well which helps if you have a family or someone to care for. The availability of work or work load is entirely depended on the schools but as soon as something becomes available they do inform you, as well as what year, who your reporting person is, if it is a individual or a group. The pay is £59 a full day which is 7:30-3:30

Worst teaching agency in Bristol. Called me several times in the morning, I was told off because I didn't answer, when all the agencies just pick the next teacher on the list. There is no loyalty in the agency world, and even less in TP. They try to give you jobs without even explaining you the details, how far the school is, if the behaviour is challenging or not. Accept or do not accept. I asked more than once pre-booked work, no they told me off cause I didn't pick up the phone at 6.30 in the morning. Once I cancelled a booking just because I found out that one of the schools I was supposed to work in, it was terrible. They were very "disappointed". Supply teachers are paid ridiculously less than the amount they should earn. They are treated like puppets by agencies that have the right to cancel bookings even the same morning when you are already dressed up and ready to go to work, or worse when you are already on the bus or close to the school gate. I work for other agencies and I have never had these issues. I was never told off, and they always tried to meet my needs. I cannot say the same for TP. Never again.
