Yet again I can't fault this agency. They furloughed me last time and are continuing to furlough me unlike my other agencies who have made little contact with me. I will definitely remember this when things return to normal.

Awful staff, very unhelpful and just not interested. Don’t even know who it is they are speaking to and have to ask your postcode to bring your profile up. Basically you are just another number to them.

I’ve worked with Howard for 4 years doing day to day supply and some long term roles. I’ve always been happy and recommend him when friends ask. I have worked with other agencies who don’t listen but Howard doesn’t waste my time with jobs he knows I wouldn’t be interested in.

Was supposed to have a telephone interview for a SEND job today. 1 hour after the time and no phone call, I emailed to say I was not happy they had not rang. My father has dementia so I had to get this afternoon covered to take the call. I got an email back saying sorry they had a problem in the office and did they want to ring me in 5 minutes. Absolutely not! If any agency can't get their act together and be punctual and professional then I do not want to work for them. Period.

Awful agency. Lack of communication, haven’t been very helpful and also don’t pay that well. Also some of the staff are very rude. Send an email and you don’t get a very helpful response most of the time.

I worked with the SEN branch base in York where Kerry Fowler was lead and she was so fab! Happy to help with any queries, advice and bookings and throughout the coronvirus pandemic rung people individually to see how they were doing which was a lovely touch and made you feel supported!

I have gained permanant work through Teaching personal for over 10 years. Each of the schools that I have worked in has been a great experience for my professional development. I have gained so much knowledge and skills over the years working with a vast number of children with complex needs and challenging behavior. I have had the experience of working inside London and also outside of London in a small village school in Northamptonshire. Teaching Personnel have been great at tailoring a package to suit my skills, experience, personality and travel location when sending me out for a trail day in a school. The rate of pay is very good and there is always somebody at the end of the phone to answer and queries that I might have. Thanks to Teaching Personnel, I have now secured a position in a lovely primary school with a special needs department attached. I would like to say a big thank you to my recruitment consultant Aysun Yeter

Teaching Personnel has been wonderful, especially during recent events. They were very proactive and supportive around furlough issues. I have been working most closely with Kathryn recently and she has been oustanding in terms of support and keeping in touch. Teaching Personnel has always worked hard to find me the right roles and I now have a long term posting at a great AP in Nottingham. I'm very grateful to Teaching Personnel for giving me the opportunity to transition from mainstream teaching into SEN/SEMH work, as a 1:1 tutor for Looked After Children, then as a TA in special schools and now as a teacher. It has been a very rewarding journey and I couldn't have done it without the help and support of Teaching Personnel.

I worked for Teaching Personnel in 2017, they found me a very close school I ended up working long term for but the pay rate was incredibly low, despite the many phone calls they refuted to raise it to an average pay rate level.

I am more than happy with Teaching Personnel. I had regular work from them before lockdown came into force. My consultant Thomas McQuade regularly kept in touch with work opportunities, taking into account any questions or queries that I may have had. Tom would also regularly provide feedback from the schools that I went to. TP were on the ball so to speak with furlough and I was paid from the start and furlough is continuing. At this present time TP are working with schools planning for effective supply teaching as and when schools reopen more than they are now. I have listened to what Tom has told me and feel reassured of supply in the future. Ongoing communication is so important.

Most dealings with TP have been fine, aside from one particular manager. Generally good amount of work offered although like most all/agencies the rates of pay for experienced teachers are generally poor. I dislike having to barter for rates. TP have been excellent throughout the furlough period to date .... clear communication and right amounts paid.
