Absolutely terrible service. They did not find me work, and I have asked them numerous times to remove me from their mailing/calling lists but they constantly bombard me with spam. Do not give them your details -- there are far better teaching agencies around.

Surprised to see so many negative comments when my experience of Sanza and Tradewind has been so positive, particularly compared to a wide range of other agencies I have dealt with. They have kept me busy with daily supply, listened carefully to what job I was looking for (which was quite specific) and put me forward for appropriate jobs. The staff are professional, pleasant and a pleasure to deal with and have never pressured me into doing anything I didn't want to do. The schools have been good or outstanding and schools where I have been happy to teach. Special mentions to Steph, Sasha, Paige, Adam C (TW) - keep up the good work!

Tradewind and Sanza are agencies that need to be approached with caution. They will register you but will not be able to find you work. When they do manage to give you a one or two days work , they will give you a negative feedback which they cannot justify fully and they will not allow a Teacher to approach a School to discuss and understand what has been said and why which leaves you wondering what the truth is. It is quite odd to think that you do not hear any complaints from the school staff when you spend a whole day teaching at their school but they do give to these agencies feedback at the end of the day. They dwell more on the negative feedback and will never tell you anything positive. When you ring in the morning for work, most of the staff are not friendly and they make you feel as if you should not have rung. After the call you can wait for work but they will never offer you any and it will be the same everyday.

This has been the worst agency I have ever worked for. They never gave me any work for the 6 weeks I was registered with them. I had to keep in touch with 11 consultants, only 2 of them ever replied to my emails. After 6 weeks of regular contact with the admin staff and all 11 consultants, I was eventually told they couldn't dispatch me as a teacher because I should have done a return to work course. This was never once mentioned in any of the conversation I've had with them. The fact that you have to keep in touch with so many comnsultants is tricky to deal with on a day to day basis. The fact that they don't even have the courtesy to reply to their emails shows how disorganized they are. I quit my job to make myself available for Sanza, getting up at 6am and ready for 7am every day- to no avail. Their incompetence has put me in a position where I am now in debt and I can't even claim benefits because I quit my job to work for them. Avoid at all cost- they are playing with the lives of human beings, whom they only perceive a numbers. I am writing this in the hope that it will save someone else from being put in the position that I am in now.

When I first arrived at Sanza's office they had a welcome board up at the entrance with my name on. It was the first time I had ever seen that at an agency. When I arrived early to a school interview and couldn't find anybody at the main entrance, Stephanie at Sanza directed me to a side entrance staffed early for breakfast club. These are small things but they speak to the strength of relationships the staff at Sanza build with their schools and their candidates. If you are working in education, you are probably looking for a school that will challenge and develop you professionally, where you will be supported and where you can make an impact as a teacher. Perhaps most important of all, and in my experience one of the most difficult things to find, a school that you are a good match for. Stephanie and all the staff at Sanza will help you find what you are looking for. They do this by taking the time to understand you as a candidate first and also taking the time to build quality relationships with the schools they represent. Their level of knowledge of the industry is exceptional, their understanding of educators and their requirements is second to none and their conduct at all times is courteous, sincere, kind and professional. For me they have been exceptional and I say that having used agencies in London for over 15 years. Everyone I have dealt with has been outstanding. Due to the hard work and effort of the team at Sanza they will deliver far beyond what you could hope for with an agency and it is my genuine pleasure to recommend them to all teachers in London and abroad. Thank you all so much!

I really enjoyed working with Sanza. The staff were really supportive in preparing me for job interviews with schools. They motivated me and made me believe I was capable of getting a permanent job. I had gone to many interviews previously and did not get the jobs, this deflated me. However after talking through my concerns with the team and getting their sipport I have now secured a permanent job with a school.I would like to say thank you to everyone at Sanza. I am very happy with your service.

I've got to say I had a really positive experience working with SANZA. They originally reached out to my school back in Australia and I made contact before moving to the UK. Rowan in the Melbourne office especially took care of all of my documents and was very supportive of the fact I had no idea what I was doing planning to move overseas. I ended up working with SANZA 3 days after my arrival in London. I got an interview for a short term intervention role and started the next day. It was a great school in terms of behaviour and expectations, but also had room for improvement through the role. That one day of teaching extended to 18 months straight at the same school, which lead to permanent employment at the school and a sponsorship to stay in the UK all from the school. Stephanie Watson was my agent throughout the whole process and arranged everything. We had an understanding that if I worked hard for the school, she'd work hard for me. It really fed into the next few years of my life. I've now been in the UK almost three years and have been promoted through the school to leadership positions. I had a great experience with SANZA, and I'll continue to recommend them to anyone beginning their teaching in the UK.

Overall I would definitely recommend SANZA to other teachers as long as they can opt for PAYE. My real bug-bear is how much and how I am being paid. Agency staff are paid slightly under MPS and do not have the same benefits of being paid directly by schools. In addition being paid by an umbrella company (my second contract with SANZA) seemed to be more in SANZA's interest than my own,(more paper-work) and now that most expenses can no longer be claimed costly as well. Since the quality of schools is down to our current education department and the stopping of teachers' expenses the UK government's decision I can hardly blame SANZA!

I have been working for SANZA/Tradewind for the last year and a half. I started off as supply and found the agents I worked with very supportive and helpful. They were supportive if I had a bad day which sometimes happens in this big city, which I found really useful when teaching on the other side of the world from my usual support networks. My current agent Liza always listened carefully to what I wanted in a permanent position and allowed me to have trial days to get a feel of a place before accepting a position . I have always had plenty of work and options. I feel that I have a competitive pay in comparison to other agencies. I would strongly recommend SANZA to friends and family wanting to teach in the UK.

Liza's been ace! As soon as my C.V. was received, She gained me a position, where I've remained since 09/2015. Thanks also, for her help, making my C.V, more attractive. Chris.

My experience with Sanza has been great, they have offered me different positions in different schools, some of them better than others, and they have always been really attentive and kind. The rate of pay in comparison with other agencies is fair, in my opinion the overall service is very good.

Olivia Walsh, I think you are really unethical and gutless to not bother responding to my previous 2 emails (sent to your work and hotmail address). You knew that school was a special measures shit school and you still happily wasted my time communicating with me for months to organise the placement there. And you DID NOT 'get me the flights'. You weren't smart enough to ask. I asked for this in the Skype interview and this was agreed upon then. You just happily let me waste my time and money moving to shitty Thetford and waste my money buying new home items such as pots and pans and mattress and just hoped I would stay long enough for you to 'earn' your commission. Your email describing the school said that Thetford Academy is "a nice school in the country" when it was a Special Measures school in an impoverished area. Not once during our numerous phone and email communication prior to me leaving Australia did you mention that the school was in Special Measures. I spent more than 5k Aud to move and rent a place in Thetford and then break lease to leave. I googled 'Special Measures' after I arrived in that dump and realised that the school had around 25-30 percent staff turnover out of 100 teaching staff. This was a total waste of my time and money. Fly across the world for a dump. And you "didn't get my flights paid for". I asked for this in my interview via Skype and received this. My flights reimbursement was certainly not due to any effort or negotiation skills on your part. I also asked about pension in England and you never bothered to respond. The money I spent to move and the time was a waste. A dump Special Measures school for 31k pa is a waste of my time. An impoverished area such as Thetford is also a waste of my time as it is a decrease in my lifestyle. I think you are very unethical for not disclosing this Special Measures status to me before I left Australia. And gutless for not responding after I was placed in a shithole dump. You wasted my time and money.

I must say that I think many of the comments on here have been written by Tradewind/Sanza staff! This is another dodgy outfit making private profit from public education. There’s plenty of work to be had from them, BUT… 1. They were originally called two different names as a scam to play schools off against each other thinking it was fair competition. 2. They break the law by not telling teachers about the Agency Workers Regulations under which we should be paid full union rate after 12 weeks (look this up- you could be owed thousands!) 3. They always tell teachers, “We won’t be able to find you work if you ask for too much”. Rubbish- there’s never been such a shortage of supply teachers. Don’t work for less than £135 a day and choose your schools! 4. Their staff have almost no experience of teaching and are under such pressure will tell you anything for the commission. Don’t believe them- even the nice ones! 5. They like to pay through ISS- a bunch of tax dodgers based (they pretend) in the Channel Islands who are currently under investigation by HMRC.

There sign up process was difficult to begin with & they groaned & talked poorly of other agencies. They promised a lot of work however I never worked one day with them due to them never finding me work. As a special education teacher they often called to say they had positions that I was not trained to do & had no experience in eg mainstream English teacher. They also offered a low pay rate.

A very personable bunch of people, who maintain contact, giving you what seem to be decent prospects, which always come to nothing. My one big issue with SANZA is that they do not always tell you when a booking has been cancelled, so you turn up tot he school only to be turned away.
