I wanted to start by saying how happy I am with the service I received from Thames Teacher. This is the first time I deal with a supply agency where feel like they actually care and value their supply teacher - listen to my needs and year group preferences. I have been out of the classroom for around 9 months now, and recently decided to return to teaching. Hannah from Thames Teachers has been extremely supportive and understanding, I expressed that I felt nervous returning to teaching. Hannah herself, arranged a volunteering day at one of my local schools just to spend time in a classroom again. She also kept me busy with work even in the last week of half-term. I am very happy. :-)

Thames Teachers were very friendly and efficient from the moment I saw a position, telephoning and speaking to the person responsible for filling the role. I received first class service when it came to completing my on-line DBS and nothing was too much trouble. It was lovely to meet and put a face to the name. Yes, I would whole heartedly recommend Thames Teachers to anyone serious in looking for work, be it agency or permanent.

For the past three years I have been with Thames Teachers and have had excellent service. The agents were quick to develop a strong working relationship with me, and as I had flexible needs, they always ensured that I was supported and kept in communication with. Since I started with Thames Teachers as a returning teacher in January 2017, I have worked constantly in learning support roles in two primary schools. Both schools have been exceptional in their educational visions . The first school , offered children an experiential and uniquely creative learning environment . The second primary school , where I'm currently working , offers children an outstanding learning experience with inspirational ,subject specialist teachers teaching accross the year groups . I was extremely fortunate to be offered a learning support position in the team that teaches and supports the learning of a group of children with additional needs attached to the school's specialist unit . If you are looking for quality schools and constant LSA /TA work , I can wholeheartedly recommend Thames Teachers. They run as a professional and efficient organsiation , with reliable and motivated consultants, such as Kim, who is always available to talk with me, lends me her ear if I have a problem and always does her best to get me the rate or a condition I ask for .

Thames Teachers is a trustworthy agency with professional and friendly staff. They really listen to your needs and try their best to find the proper role for you. Thames Teachers have created a service that ensures education professionals are treated as such. I currently work with Hannah Jenson - a who has demonstrated this standard to me everyday we've worked together. The level of support and standard of staff training at Thames symbolises their prioritisation of honesty, respect, and the interests of their teachers. Since signing on with them, my experience of London and teaching have vastly improved.

I've only been with this agency since September 2017 but already they are the best out of the three agencies I registered with. Hannah at Thames is regularly in contact with me about possible work. She has also rung me during a difficult placement to talk about how she could help make it more manageable. It seems like they have good relationships with the heads/management at schools as things to do change after their involvement. Finally, I've also asked for specific year groups to work with and this is always met. Have used teaching agencies across U.K. and they are one of the very best I've been with.

Very friendly, personal and helpful agency. This was my first time using a teaching agency for supply work and they very quickly found me a suitable long term supply. Thames Teachers have by far been the best of the three agencies I signed up with. The service they offer is excellent; Hannah really listened to what I was looking for and I didn't feel I was being shoe-horned into roles I didn't want. The schools where they have placed me have been great so far and there have been no issues about being paid on time or sorting timesheets etc, in fact, Chris at TT is very quick to get in touch with me and remind me if I forget to submit my sheets! Overall their service is very professional and really personable too - highly recommended!

Thames Teachers have been great. I tried another agency first and they were everything that Thames is not. It was such a relief to find an agency that really tries hard to match you to your ideal job. Amazingly they found me a job for a term as an Art teacher part time in a really lovely school and now I am back doing daily supply. All of the schools I have been sent to have been great and I can honestly say I have enjoyed working in them all! Hannah is amazing and so helpful and I enjoy our chats!

Thames Teachers is definitely the 'go to' of teaching agencies. The staff are friendly, approachable but above all, honest (which for those of you working who have worked with agencies before, you will know is not a common factor). I get to work in fantastic schools in central London on competitive rates of pay. I have just returned back to Canada after working in London for two years with Thames Teachers. My consultant, Deon arranged a teaching job in a primary school while I was in Canada. I originally planned on trying out a few schools but I liked this school so much I ended up staying with them for the full two years. The guys at Thames have been absolutely awesome - they even arranged a paid cab to the airport after I sprained my ankle playing netball! Will certainly recommend Thames to other Canadians thinking of teaching in London - they always were super helpful, friendly and professional.

I have been dealing with Hannah for about 6 months now. She has been great with answering any questions, sharing her own personal experiences and being very honest about the process. Kim is very helpful, friendly and professional. She is the only person who believed in me and helped me with everything. I cannot recommend Thames Teachers highly enough! From the get-go they have been extremely personable, helpful, and completely reliable. Not only did they pay for my international flight over, they actually secured two interviews for me before I arrived in the UK - by my third day in London I had a great long-term job in an Ofsted 'outstanding' school thanks to Thames Teachers! They continue to support me and check in with me throughout the week, and they ensure that I get paid very well. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in teaching.
