I've nothing bad to say about the service I've received from Thames Teachers. Everyone on the team is eager to help when they answer the phone. They are personable and treat you like a human being, not a number. Hannah has been amazing - from when I was still in Australia to now, after working for them exclusively for a term, she has patiently answered every ridiculous question and query I've had and found me work every day. I've had almost all good experiences at the schools they've placed me at, and the one time I had a negative experience, the team was incredibly supportive and understanding. Can't recommend them more highly - a pain free transition to teaching in London!

What a great agency Thames Teachers are. They are prompt to deal with inquiries, carefully match staff to jobs and provide you with you with after support too. Luren my agent was superb throughout. She carefully placed me, offered ongoing support and even managed to get me a pay rise. This agency is spot on when looking for work. I highly recommend them to you.

I first contacted Thames while still living in Australia, Hannah was so helpful by being able to provide me with all of the important information I needed to know about teaching in the UK, as well as so many helpful hints about making the big move. Hannah understood exactly what I was looking for and has supported me by being flexible and honest. Hannah and Kim are both fantastic to work with, they are super positive, approachable and always up for a chat! I would highly recommend Thames Teachers to anyone who is looking for a supportive agency with your best interests in mind

Never had a problem with quality of schools but only did a handful of supply days for Thames so I'm not an authority on that. I did find that I needed to constantly state my availability rather than these being noted down on some kind of internal system of who to call on which days. When they put me in a long term supply position they negotiated a slightly higher rate of pay than the £xxx minimum I started out on so that was great. Lovely to deal with, very upfront and open to questions when you are upfront with them, gave reasonable answers to all my concerns.

I can highly recommend working with Thames Teachers! My manager Kim worked hard to place me as much as possible. She was flexible enough to work around some specific requirements I had regarding my positioning and found an even better option for me than I could have ever imagined. With Thames Teachers, you will feel like they put your needs first, which is fantastic. The free workshops they offer are an additional bonus. Overall, I am very happy with the service they offer!

Thames Teachers are the best. Kim at Thames teachers was very helpful and continues to be. In fact, I feel like I've known Kim for ages because of the way she communicates with me regularly. TT even organise for you to attend free workshops related to your job role which to me to me is excellent. So far at the school where I have been placed, I have great working relationship with the staff; and it's a calming supportive environment. Thank you Thames Teachers for your professionalism and the warmth that you deliver alongside!!!

Thames Teachers is beyond the best teaching agency out there. I have been a member of other agencies, but the vibe here is so much better. They do give it their all in finding the best match for you, and keep you continuously updated. Even during your employment in a school, they send friendly reminders and wishes, which I think that the personal touch puts it ahead of other agencies. Would definitely recommend.

I applied to many individual school positions advertised on several agency websites, and Gargee from Thames Teachers was the only one who took the time to reply. By this time, I had already found Kim on LinkedIn and messaged her directly. She has been looking after me ever since. She is always quick to reply and look into my questions/concerns. After my hours were suddenly reduced, she negotiated an excellent rate of pay and got written confirmation of the school's long-term commitment to me. In the last four months, I've also attended Thames Teachers' fabulous Christmas party and very informative SEND Awareness CPD Course. Would 100% recommend!

After more than a week of stressing and filtering through voice mails and emails from numerous, generic supply agencies, I spoke to Georgia and immediately knew she had my best interests at heart: she listened to my preferences and requirements and almost immediately found me the perfect role with regards to level, location, ethos etc. Communication was personal yet consistently professional and Georgia worked efficiently and effectively to connect me with a great school, supporting me along the way as I went through the interview process as well as anything else that was new to me. After the Christmas holidays, although supply needs were a bit more sparse, both Hannah and Georgia contacted me daily and helped me plan my routes to different schools which were all wonderful places to work. I could not be more thankful and pleased with their efforts and support and definitely recommend Thames Teachers.

Thames teachers have been AMAZING! I have been really impressed with how professional the staff are and most importantly how reliable they are. I have mostly worked with Georgia and I have to say she really listens to my requirements. She’s not pushy like other agents, just really friendly and I genuinely enjoy speaking with her each week. I would highly recommend Thames Teachers if you want a trustworthy agency that actually care about building good relationships with supply teachers. Thanks again for all your help!

I have worked with a few agencies in and around London and I must say that this is by a long shot one of the best. They have a personal and friendly approach yet very professional at all times. They make you feel welcome and will actually listen to you. Hannah, with whom I deal most of the times, is simply superb at her job and I would not hesitate to recommend her and the whole of Thames Teachers to anyone who is thinking of working for an agency. In my opinion, if you have to go for anything why not going for gold?!

I have had extremely positive experiences with Thames. Not only have they found me ample work at a range of schools but the staff were extremly helpful in adjusting to life in general in London, with regard to providing information on transport, bank accounts etc. Staff are also very caring in the way they seek your feedback on your school experiences and will make welfare calls in relation to how you are handling work. I highly recommend Thames.

I signed up with this agency a few months ago and got a long-term TA job offered quite quickly. The school where I work currently is rated 'good' by Ofsted and the staff is welcoming. I am in contact with Crystal, she is friendly and we have a good working relationship.
