I registered with ITN Mark Education in Bristol at the begining of June 2017. The staff are brilliant, really friendly, efficient, professional and much more personable than other agencies. They found work for me every day I was available, did not put me under any pressure to take any roles I didn't feel I was suited to (eg year 6), finding alternative places for me on the same day instead. I was almost always booked in advance, with all the information I needed ready to go. The schools they work with are generally really lovely and welcoming, and the agency are obviously well regarded by the schools. They were always really honest with me, letting me know in advance whether to expect behaviour issues etc, and were incredibly supportive and quick to respond when I contact them for support during one placement. ITN are a great agency to work with: lovely team and friendly schools. Highly recommended!!

I was extremely happy with ITN Mark. As a teacher from Australia, I initially was registered with another UK teaching agency. While this agency was okay, it was soon apparent that they were not as helpful as advertised! I registered with ITN Mark in Bristol, and was met by the very professional Laurence Hewitson. He introduced me to all staff in the office and was very thorough in interviewing me, finding out what positions I was looking for. I spoke to a variety of staff on the phone, and particularly liked that they generally were able to contact me in advance (prior to 7am in the morning as with the other agency!) for daily supply work. I was able to find a short time contract which was suitable for what I was looking for. In general I found the quality of schools ITN Mark booked me into to be of a high standard. In my final weeks in the country, I was booked into a lovely school (students were polite and diligent!). It soon became apparent that the school was on first-name basis with the ITN Mark staff, and I was happy to be requested back. This personable approach from the agency clearly was seen by supply teachers and schools. I highly recommend ITN Mark in Bristol... Should I ever be fortunate enough to get back to the UK, I will only be in contact with this agency! Thank you!

I signed up with ITN about a year and a half ago. They were advertising for a small group of schools near Grimsby and offered great incentives: team planning of lessons, Canadian teacher mentors, competitive pay, relocation bonus, extensive training, etc. Not one word of this was as it was sold. The schools were absolute nightmares. The relocation bonus had to be paid back and we got it so late that we were scraping by on money for the first few weeks. The team planning never happened, nor did the extensive training. We were tossed in without more than three hours of training and got critiqued and torn apart for not automatically knowing everything they didn't bother to teach us. I have never worked in a less supportive or more hostile environment. We spent about 12 hours a day working for the first half of the year. ITN Mark never even checked in with us again after we arrived, we were completely at the mercy of this school and did not know where to go or what to do. We never heard from them again. I felt completely abandoned and lied to by this agency. I cannot state this strongly enough: do not go with this agency. Go with literally any other.

I registered with the Bristol branch in June with the promise of permanent work. I was told they are the only agency offering permanent NQT positions in September. I provided all of my documentation and paid £56 for a DBS and I have since heard nothing. When I called the office to find out what was happening, I spoke to a guy who rushed me off the telephone rudely and told me I would just have to wait until they called me regarding vacancies. I called again when I saw an advert for a position online which stated "will consider NQT's", to be told the position had been filled, even though it was posted the same day. I managed to secure a fixed term contract through Prospero thankfully who kept in contact with me and kept me updated of everything they were doing to find me work. As an NQT it is a daunting experience and this agency wasted my time.

Have worked for ITN Mark for several years on a day to day basis. Do tend to have my regular schools which is what I like. Personnel are always friendly and have always complied well with my teaching requirements and always follow up regularly with notification emails.

I have worked with ITN in Wolverhampton for a couple of years and have found them extremely helpful and able to find me plenty of work. Sarah and Lyanha are both friendly, knowledgeable and professional and have found me work in some great schools. They seem to build up a good relationship with schools to get regular work. I would highly recommend them.

I would highly recommend the ITN/CPSS Birmingham branch. After joining late September of this year, I have been treated with respect and courtesy at all times. With special mention to Sarah Harrison, who is always professional, friendly and a fabulous communicator. I have been offered enough work to keep me satisfied. I made the huge decision to leave a permanent job to undertake supply and have found no need or desire to join another agency. I hope to do supply up until I retire, so feel pleased to have discovered a top class supply agency to work for.

The worst agency I have ever dealt with. It was a good agency years ago, and recommended by a friend, but they promise a lot and deliver very little. Inefficient and not honest.

Claire and Rebecca at the Sheffield branch have been so lovely and personable. They have put my mind at ease with their honest and approachable manner. I will be an NQT in September and they have secured me a position for the whole year in a lovely school. I would definitely recommend this agency.

Such an awful agency. Fake staff who, if I say I would rather not go to a particular school, drop me like a ton of bricks and can't get off the phone fast enough. Their pay is amongst the lowest in Bristol too. Do not sign up with these guys. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am, especially as I had a recommendation to go there! Disgusting!

I have worked with ITN in Sheffield for two years now and I've had a great experience with them. When I was first looking for supply agencies I signed up to two different agencies at the same time. Within a few days of my dbs coming through ITN had called with work and it has been steady since that day. The other agency phoned me sporadically and it was usually just to find out my availability but no work ever came. The staff at ITN are friendly and approachable and seem to actually care about you as a human being which is not always the same at other agencies where you are seen as a number. I've had particularly good experiences with Perry, Caroline and Claire at ITN Sheffield. They have always given me as much information possible about the school I am attending and have gone above and beyond helping me with transport issues as I am currently a none driver. I can't praise them enough!

ITN has been very kind and supportive. I have received a lot of work and they listen to concerns and try to solve them. My only criticism is that sometimes problems need to be addressed three or four times before a consultant does sort it out. It would be more convenient if they did this the first time.

I've always had plenty of work when working for ITN, they're always long term posts as well which I love. I've never gone to a school in which I haven't enjoyed my time there.

Possibly not the best paying - and they may be better at securing the longer term assignments than the day-to-day stuff - but they have a good telephone manner and they generally listen - so, if, for example you tell them you are not available on (a) certain day(s), it is noted. And a nice touch was an unsolicited open reference, good for my self-esteem.

They are great to talk to on the phone and aside from the September and October months, i have had regular work. Most schools I am sent to are fine. If there ever is a bad school that i go to, I inform the agency and they never ask me to go there again.
